Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision on Den Hill Road, Resulting in Death of Robert Early
CHRISTIANSBURG, VA — Earlier today, the Roanoke Times reported that a serious motor vehicle collision occurred on Den Hill Road in Montgomery County near Valley Landscaping, unfortunately resulting in a fatality.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the collision took place shortly after 7 a.m. and involved a black Nissan Rogue and a red Chevrolet pickup truck. The Blacksburg fire and rescue departments responded to the accident, where they found three individuals trapped in the Nissan. The driver, Linda Early, and an unidentified passenger were extricated and transported to LewisGale Hospital Montgomery for treatment.
Regrettably, Robert Early, who was in the rear passenger area of the Nissan, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet, Lucas Waldron, sustained minor injuries and received medical attention at the same hospital.
